Founded
by Patrick E. Pate in 1973, Pate
Construction Company, Inc. is one of the
most respected underground utilities contractors on
Colorado's Front Range. We have completed well over
3,000 projects, without ever failing on a contract,
having bonds attached or being involved in litigation.
With offices in Pueblo West, Colorado we are well
located for projects throughout our state as well
as those surrounding, and have capabilities to serve
clients in Texas, Nevada and California.
Pate Construction handles
about an equal amount of private and public contracts
from negotiated new subdivision work to some of the
most challenging municipal projects under construction.
Because we consistently run 16 main line pipe crews,
four service crews, as well as four concrete structures
crews we have the resources and experience to complete
the most difficult projects on time and on budget,
without much need for subcontractors.
Our
safety record is one of the best among Colorado construction
companies because we employ independent safety consultants
for job site inspections and annual training. Our
alcohol and drug abuse program is among the strictest
in Colorado; safety is the responsibility of every
employee at Pate Construction.
Much
of our success is attributed to our philosophy that
the people make the company. Many on the Pate
Construction team have over 20 years with
the firm and others are second-generation employees.
